Each square is framed in galvanized steel to protect the edges and has four rubber feet attached to prevent movement.
You can iron on it, steam on it and poke pins into it without damaging the board.
These squares of very light-weight and each block is less than a square foot and very easy to store.
When needed, the cover fabric can be removed and replaced with little effort.
