There are 472 colors that come 12 skeins/box.  There are 375 colors that come on 100-gram cones. 

The 100-gram cone is the economical put-up of DMC embroidery floss for the designer, manufacturer and other heavy users.  The 100 gram cone measures approximately 450 yards.  The distributor always maintains a 120-day inventory on 100-gram cones, which is more than adequate to accommodate the lead time of product from France.  However, as manufacturers purchase quantity for upcoming collections, the stock, by color, can unexpectedly become depleted.  To avoid the challenges which result from out of stock colors, please order floss as early as possible in your production schedule.  Special orders (color or quantity) are welcome.
