GERDA STITT -- Garter Carriage Turn-around Cams
$19.95, plus shipping

These cams fit onto a standard-gauge Brother or Knitking knitting machine that is equipped with a Garter Carriage, behind the needle butts of needles 7-12 left and right.  Normally, the G-carriage will knit approximately 25-28 needles past the edge of each side of the knitting before it turns around, adding about 50 to 56 stitches to each row of knitting.  Using the new Gerda Stitt Garter Carriage Turn-around Cams on your needle bed, the distance is reduced to 10 needles past the edge of each side of the knitting, thereby adding only 20 stitches to each row of knitting.  And with the speed of the G-carriage, affectionately known as THE TURTLE, that can mean a difference of HOURS!
