100% ALOO (NETTLE) yarn from nepal

Unique yarn spun from nettle fibers

Aloo yarn is made in Nepal from the Himalayan nettle plant. The yarn is handspun from dried stem fibers of the plant.
Color variations occur naturally.
Traditionally small amounts of nettle are often mixed with wool in blankets, rugs, and storage bags and is believed to be a natural moth repellent. Nettle has many qualities similar to linen and will work well for making bags, placemats, washcloths or sachets for your sweater closet.
