Seems like everyone admired the graceful lines and cozy texture of Martha Stewart's "Freedom Poncho"—and who better to give the definitive interpretation than Lily Chin, knit and crochet diva and fashion designer extraordinaire.  Using two of Coats & Clark's most stylish yarns (Red Heart Casual Cot'n and Red Heart Symphony), the poncho is worked in one piece from the neck down in a lacy pattern of double crochet and chain stitches, ending with a gently scalloped shell-stitch edging.  The collar is worked last, to provide that final fashionable touch. Lily debuted her version of this famous poncho on the CBS Early Show on March 14, 2005.
