Twig is another double dye, with little puffs of nylon that run along a thin base chain and are punctuated regularly by flags of rayon. As with all of our double dyes, the nylon is dyed first, while the flags stay white; the skeins are then turned and the rayon is dyed in different colors. The effect is playful and fun. When knit, the nylon forms a soft, spongy surface while the flags add just a touch of shine and texture. This yarn is especially nice as a compliment to plain, smooth yarns, and makes a great ruffled edge. Very light weight and airy, it is a perfect warm weather yarn as well as a nice accent.
